Interesting what the major media considers news

What does it say when there is such little fanfare in the corporate media about Obama extending the unconstitutional Patriot Act this week? Not only did our President of change once again continue the authoritarian neo-con policies of his predecessor without any quibble from the pseudo-liberals, but the Republican attack dogs had little to say one way or the other about this supposedly important legislation. Just business as usual I guess. Maybe it's because all the instigators, flag-wavers, and Republocrat-Demican leaders have still not read it. Just label it "good for the security of the country", and Right and Left goose-step into formation regardless of the true contents and consequences. God help our children, because their parents' leaders sure aren't.
