I'm shocked!

What a huge surprise! My local major newspaper refused to print my letter to the editor questioning the US sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia. Maybe I should stick to the mud-slinging game between the Republicrats and the Democans. I'm sure that would be unique and news-worthy.

I realize I am one of those lunatic fringers who (due in large part to the incredible number of discrepancies, inconsistencies, and lies from official sources concerning our Republican and Democratic leaders’ foreknowledge; response; explanations; cover-up; and departmental, corporate, and foreign allies’ assistance, as well as watching what was portrayed on TV and other major media) believe that it wasn’t just 19 cave dwellers with laptops and box-cutters, and their Bedouin support group, who baffled and breached our mighty, kazillion dollar defense and intelligence communities for two hours on September 11, 2001 to inflict on us one of the greatest attacks in our history.

Still, I would think anyone with a shred of reflection who actually reads the first section of your paper would have to question giving $60 Billion of high tech weapons to Saudi Arabia (US to sell $60 Billion in Advanced Arms to Saudi, AP, 10/20/2010) considering that 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers, as well as Osama bin Laden were from Saudi Arabia; and that our modern history of arming our supposed allies too quickly returns billions of dollars of debt and thousands upon thousands of dead and maimed Americans and indigenous innocents.
